Ezy-Guard™ HD (Heavy Duty)
The Ezy-Guard Heavy Duty (HD) system has been fully crash tested to MASH Test Level 3 (TL3). This is a 2270kg utility impacting the barrier at 100km/h and 25 degrees impact angle.
The system comprises a W-Beam rail secured to the HD Z-post via a sliding carriage. This carriage enables the release of the W-Beam rail from the post allowing it to maintain its height through a vehicle impact and safely contain the large MASH 2270P utility.
The innovative design of the Z profile post gives a consistent and dependable rail release while maximising the lateral resistance to deflection. A superior dynamic deflection of 1.28m was recorded in the MASH 3-11 test.
With a system width of just 250mm, Ezy-Guard HD is significantly narrower than traditional guardrail barriers that incorporate the use of blocking pieces. Ezy-Guard HD conserves valuable formation width and allows a greater recovery width to be provided for errant vehicles.
The system also offers rapid installation when compared to other barrier systems with a quickly driven 1020mm of post in ground and no concrete required.
Ezy-Guard HD has been crash tested to MASH TL3.
