- What is the Ingal RBT?View
It is a rigid barrier transition that connects semi rigid systems such as guardrail and Ezy Guard barriers to a rigid concrete structure while providing a controlled stiffness change.
- What performance level does it meet?View
Ingal RBT is compliant to MASH Test Level 3, having been fully crash tested for small car and utility impacts.
- What is the transition length?View
The transition length is, 6 m when connecting to Ezy Guard 4 and 8 m when connecting to Ezy Guard HC
- Is there a median configuration available?View
Yes. Ingal RBT is available in both single sided (verge) and double sided (median or gore) configurations.
- Is base plated installation available?View
Yes. Ingal RBT can be supplied with base plated posts anchored into reinforced concrete beams where in ground posts are not possible.
- Can the system be curved or modified on site?View
Curving of thrie beam within the transition is not permitted. The system must be installed as detailed in Ingal drawings. Any modification requires approval from Ingal Civil.
- Has Ingal RBT been tested with the Austroads Transition concrete barrier?View
