Road Safety Infrastructure - Manawatū Gorge Project | Ingal Civil

These road safety systems were selected for their proven performance, durability, and suitability for high-wind, exposed environments. Ingal Civil Products supported the delivery and installation of MASH-compliant highway safety barriers across challenging alpine terrain. The alignment crossed an exposed mountain pass with consistently high winds and cold conditions. Installation was completed using driven sleeve foundations and barrier systems designed to perform reliably in demanding environments. This project is a critical piece of road safety infrastructure that improves safety, reliability, and resilience for road users travelling between Palmerston North and the Tararua District.
